There's no denying it, it's getting hot in the city! Well at least since I have my very own furnace keeping me toasty warm at all times. Getting to higher elevations has been a great way to ditch the heat. Two weekends ago Carl and I had the perfect reason to head to higher country...Swedish Midsommer Festival! After we enjoyed the traditional dancing, food, and singing we decided to explore the greater region of Estes Park. We found this lovely lake and had a picnic. Owen loved playing in the water and I loved the breeze. I hope this is one of many great summer days in the mountains!
